Proficiency in the use of library automated systems, information technology (including the Internet) and general computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc). Experience in reference services, preferably in a health sciences library, including experience in online searching and library instruction. Excellent planning, organizational skills, interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Mature, professional manner. Ability to coordinate work of others and provide leadership. Ability to interact well with health care professionals.
