| Tapper Cuddy LLP, a medium-sized law firm in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is inviting applications for a one-year term,part-time position of Librarian. The position includes providing research support and current awareness services for thelawyers, administration and maintenance of the library, and sourcing new research material. The successful candidate should have either an MLIS degree from an accredited library school, or a library techniciandiploma and undergraduate university degree in any discipline. Experience using legal resources is preferred. Otherqualifications include the ability to work independently, strong budget planning skills, strong research skills,experience in Internet and database searching, and experience with Microsoft Office components such as Word, Excel,Access, Outlook. Experience with webpage design and maintenance using Microsoft Publisher is also an asset. This is a 12 month maternity leave, part time position, which includes approximately 15 hours per week, with a flexibleschedule which must fall between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
