OCLC Canada Library Technical Services invites applications for a full-time
term processor/shipper position. OCLC Inc. is an international not-for-
profit membership organization, headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, which
provides information and bibliographic services to libraries worldwide.
Library Technical Services provides custom cataloguing and processing
services to a variety of Canadian libraries. Position Duties: Unpacking, receiving, barcoding and recording incoming library materials; physical processing of items to customers' specifications; packing and shipping completed items with appropriate documentation; other related duties as required. Qualifications: Grade 12; excellent keyboarding skills; library training or experience would be an asset, as would familiarity with Windows and standard office applications. Must be physically able to handle books and pack/unpack shipments. Must be able to work to deadlines in a production environment. This full-time term position is available immediately and continues for six months with the possibility of extension. Salary is $13.18 per hour, with a 37.5 hour work week.
