SALARY RANGE: $35,481 to $40,569 per year

QUALIFICATIONS:

Library Technician certificate from a recognized college and experience in providing library public service, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the French and English languages. Duties require lifting library materials.

DUTIES:

Provides circulation control and interlibrary loan services. As a member of the Reference Services team, serves Members and staff of the Legislative Assembly, staff of Government of Manitoba departments and agencies, libraries in Manitoba and throughout North America, and the general public at both library service locations. Will often be the first point of contact for on-site clients and telephone requests and must provide excellent customer service.

An Eligibility List may be established.
