Proficiency in the use of library automated systems, information technology (including the Internet) and general computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc). Two years' experience in reference services, preferably in a health sciences library, including experience in online searching and library instruction. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Mature, professional manner. Ability to coordinate the work of others and provide leadership.
