As Manager, Library Services you will provide leadership in the planning, development,
administration and promotion of library facilities and services to meet the needs of students,
faculty and administration of the college campuses and sites. You will develop, plan and
implement programs in support of teaching research skills and information literacy, and
collaborate with faculty to integrate information literacy competencies into the curriculum.
You will administer all aspects of acquiring, maintaining, and improving the library collection
and you will supervise all areas of the library; circulations, reference services,
Inter-Library Loans and the Distance Education area. You have a degree in Library Science supplemented with considerable related library and managerial experience including experience in instructional planning, design and evaluation. You have substantial knowledge of, and experience with electronic and print resources, Internet applications and emerging technologies. You have demonstrated planning and innovative leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and sound knowledge of information literacy theories and practices.
